Stack Overflow management is treating former moderator Monica Cellio very badly, revoking her moderator status without any CoC violations being the least of it. Even worse is how they are slandering her, promulgating all sorts of unkind and potentially professionally damaging innuendo about her, calling her names etc.
Communities where thoughtful, hard-working, scrupulously considerate volunteers have mud thrown on their reputations for pre-crimes (i.e. supposedly violating a future, potential CoC rule, or for even asking questions about it) are not the kind I wish to be a part of.
It is very sad to see SO squander it's position as a community leader to pursue a campaign of ideological purity.
