Steve bought his first laptop (a Powerbook G4) as a teenager and fell in love with OSX; hence the name "Stevethemacguy."

He later served in the Army as an Infantry Paratrooper with the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team in Afghanistan (OEF 2007-2008). After leaving the military, he re-focused on technology and taught himself HTML, CSS, and Javascript while completing his B.S. at UC Irvine.

While working in various web development and consulting roles, Steve has helped deliver multi-million dollar projects for industry-leading clients. He currently works as a Senior Front End Developer at Lojistic.

Steve is passionate about creating engaging user experiences for clients and learning new tools and frameworks. When he’s not working, he enjoys swing dancing, hiking, investing, and volunteering in his local community.
