I am the Solution Lead Architect Manager who is responsible for the design and implementation of next generation POS solutions. The solutions include thin client tablets, self checkouts, and other platforms.

My current projects are now the moving of the client server POS architecture, to a cloud based, SaaS solution, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes and micro service architecture to implement the application. The conversion also requires that the actual Point of Sale lanes in a store, can still run completely stand alone, without any networking, if needed.

I am also responsible for the Quality of our products. I am constantly working to improve our testing capabilities and the quality of code our company produces. I have helped our team move to include considerably more automated testing of all our components, and have created testing software, emulators, etc., to allow the non-Windows code base to also employ automated testing and End-to-End testing.

Web Development is also an ongoing activity, which teaches me new technologies, User Interactions, and how to provide services that people actually want. I am constantly learning new technologies and looking to learn from, and help others with their projects.
