A computer engineer who remembers when Pong was really a cool game. Yeah, I'm old. And I was being relegated to scud work by managers who thought the passage of time had left me behind. So on my own time, I taught myself advanced Java, then Google Web Toolkit, and then quietly rebuilt our crappy old db interface. When I showed the team, my manager said, "That's amazing. Did M__ help you with that?" Oh for crying out loud! No, M__ didn't help me with that! I did it myself! I was programming when you were playing with Power Ranger dolls! (Sorry, action figures.)

Anyhoo, I'm now doing some very interesting work, and still working on my own time exploring all the cool things I can do with GWT. And trying to help out here when I can.
