With a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nottingham University, I spent 18 years as a professional software developer, starting in the early '90s.

I now run my own company providing computer support for homes and small businesses in the North-East of England. I occasionally end up writing code to help customers, but mostly it's basic support - a lot less demanding that full-time software development!
