I like to think that my C++ competencies have a solid foudation. I like to be constantly menthored by the world experts on the topic, meaning I eagerly read (over and over) a few books, which I consider to be great. My main sources are [More] Effective C++ (S. Meyers), Modern C++ (A. Alexandrescu), Coding Standards (H. Sutter, A. Alexandrescu); all of which, I have a deep understanding and knowledge of.
There is a lot to learn from such good books; at least, I'm trying!
