About

Since the age of 11, I have been keen on coding, from Basic to OOP. After founding a BBS at the age of 14, I deepened my knowledge of computer networks, software and systems development.

Today, I'm in charge of maintaining the Atlassian ecosystem at Konica Minolta Global R&D and also to streamline the development workflow in and between teams.

Recently I've dealt with the design/coding of complex software architectures. In the last 16 years, I have been involved in the design of IT systems, cybersecurity, VoIP and system / DB / software design by using different langs, techs and platforms. I have fulfilled the role of leader for the Tiger team with satisfaction and merit.

The strong passion for my work, combined with an insatiable curiosity, is pushing myself to always explore new opportunities that put me in touch with highly skilled people, to develop a mutual enrichment during job life that must be dotted with multiple moments of human and technical growth. The kaizen in all fields is the propeller of my existence.

I always look for job challenges that push me to reach the bleeding edge. I also consider my shortcomings as opportunities to learn, with enthusiasm, new things.

I prefer work on projects with a large pool of users because I like to think that my time is used for the benefit of many: the relative responsibility brings me the motivation to operate better and better.

I love teamwork both as a member or as a leader. I am a supporter of agile methodologies since 2010 and I just not seek out a solution, but I always try to assess whether it is "the right thing", espousing the philosophy of the founders of the hacker movement (@ MIT) but mitigating it with a pragmatic approach, as the best it is not always the preferred solution.

I deplore the almost "religious" fury of certain individuals towards technologies or companies in favour of a more open approach to find the most suitable solution rather than the choice that I like the most.
