My name is Stefan DeClerck and I live in San Jose, California. I am currently a sophomore at Cranbrook Kingswood boarding school in Michigan. Outside of my studies at Cranbrook, I participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including a key trumpet position in our high school concert band, and a lead role in the CK Coders, a developer community that teaches and motivates other students to learn coding. I also play ice hockey and lacrosse for my school.
Over the past four years, I've become a full stack iOS developer. I've published 4 apps on the iTunes store and am soon releasing my 5th. I am a competency in both Swift and Objective-C. I have been working with Objective-C for four years, and dedicated myself to learning Swift since it's released by Apple. I also have considerable experience using Apples public API's and other SDK's such as Firebase, Parse, Giphy, and others. At the moment, I am the head mobile developer for ReachFit, a startup out of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. I am also a summer Intern at Bindle Chat, an emerging leader in mobile group messaging.
Over the past two years, I've leveraged my passion for iOS development into a way to teach others. I have two courses on learning iOS development on Udemy (udemy.com/u/stefandeclerck) with over one thousand students taking my courses. I am also a five star rated mentor/teacher on Codementor.io and help many people with their bug errors and help them complete their mobile development projects. Along with all that I am a teacher on Airpair.com.
