I'm an engineering manager for Vrbo. I attended the University of Texas at Austin for both my B.A. in Philosophy and my M.S. in Software Engineering. I am a cofounder of the PyTexas Foundation, which runs the PyTexas conference, and an organizer for the Austin Web Python User Group. When I get a chance to code these days, I mostly work in Java. I have a passing interest in Swift as well.
