I graduated from University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. I worked at IBM until my job was offshored to India in 2004. After that, I moved back to Tasmania and took a job at the Tasmanian Police Department, where I've worked ever since.

The first film I ever watched was Star Wars in 1977, and I've been a Science Fiction fan ever since. The world is full of possibilities, and no genre better represents that than Science Fiction does.

I'm a lapsed Trekkie, and a fan of both Classic and New Doctor Who. I've lost track of Science Fiction authors over the past decade, so feel free to recommend some. My current favourite television shows are Top Gear, Doctor Who, Mythbusters, Pushing Daisies and Psych.
