I received my B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the IIT Guwahati in July 2014, and received the Institute Silver Medal -- awarded to the best academic performer in class. Broadly, my interest lies in communication networks, wireless communications, multimedia security, error control codes and machine learning.
In the summer of 2012, I was a research intern at IISc Bangalore where I worked on relay load balancing in cooperative wireless systems. In the summer of 2013, I was a visiting scholar at National University of Singapore where my work was based on MAC protocols for cognitive radio networks.
Since June 2014, I am a consultant with EXL Analytics. My work primarily involves providing data-driven decision analytics to a fortune 50 client in its Small and Mid-Market business. From Fall 2015, I will be attending University of California Los Angeles for M.S. in Computer Science.
