I am a seasoned .Net developer, having started writing in C# around 2003. Over that timespan I've written desktop software, Silverlight dashboards, and Xamarin based iOS and Android apps. I have worked on over a dozen mobile apps over the last ~6-7 years, including being a lead contributor to both AMC Theatres and GM Financial's mobile apps.

During this time I have also held leadership positions including Director of Technology for a 40 person digital agency, and serving as the Xamarin Practice Lead for a large digital consultancy. I have helped define coding standards, written position papers, and provided architectural reviews on numerous apps as well.

I also ran my own mobile development business for ~5 years, during which time I worked with local startups to take their mobile apps from concept to publication.

Most recently, I have been focusing on React. I recently helped launch a React based website which queried all its data via GraphQL from a WordPress backend using Apollo. I have also recently worked on a React and React Static website which generates static pages from JSON and Markdown definitions.

I have built a number of my own apps and games under the name SmartyPantsCoding, and my page SmartyP.net has a small portfolio and extra details about who I am and what I like to do for fun.
