My first programming language was Javascript. It took me quite a while to realise that I hated it, with a passion. I have proceeded to learn C++, C, Python, prolog, brainfuck.. and a few others I would need to recap on a bit, but can still use, such as Java and x86-32 assembly (and 16-bit.. why??). However.. much of this I will never use again, because I am engrossed in Common Lisp! I am a Linux user.. Ubuntu at the moment.
Outside computers, I can also use more than one non-computer language - an ability which is sadly rather rare among the natives at my location. I speak German, Russian, and French to a reasonable standard, and I enjoy dabbling lightly in a few others.
