I'm a EE specializing in embedded systems design: hardware, firmware, software. Much of my career has been in the recreational marine electronics industry: I've designed numerous fish finders and navigation aids. Outside the marine world, I've worked on capacitive touch screen controllers, a software-defined radio, and nuclear soil density- and moisture-measurement devices.
