About

I'm a father, a husband, a bit of a hacker. I love aircraft, scuba diving and I am truly passionate about helping companies achieve their goals through my work. I'm not afraid of experimenting new technologies. In fact, I embrace them.

I get stuff done. I am more interested in finding solutions and making things work for companies than I am of "pursuing a career".

I've been working since 1999 in web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.Net (C#/VB.Net/MVC), MS SQL and MySQL/MariaDB. I've designed and developed all sorts of web applications: from small company websites to big e-commerce B2C/B2B applications with systems integration, and electronic payments.

More recently I have worked on smaller projects using Node.js, Redis, MongoDB and Azure Table Storage, on top of the Windows Azure platform.

I am currently Realtime's Business Evangelist and Professional Services Team Leader, and I'm helping companies realize the potential of Realtime and leading a team that designs, develop and deploys solutions to customers.

My previous work includes working as a Developer Evangelist, managing the developer community for the real time web technology Realtime (www.realtime.co) and being the focal point for hundreds of developers all over the world. I've contributed and provided support to both the Marketing and PR teams in the form of consultation or the creation of documents and articles.

I've also participated in public events abroad (such as San Francisco's HTML5 Dev Conf and LA's Mobile Camp), as well as online events (webinars) and provided training to partners and developers.

Working close with so many diverse divisions and teams, I have acquired the necessary knowledge to also provide support to the internal sales teams, both on meetings or supplying documentation or technical insight on projects or prototypes.
