Five years ago, I'd have told you I'm a PHP developer. Three years ago, it'd have been a fullstack javascript answer with some scala on the side. A year ago, rust on microcontrollers would've been my daily bread. Tomorrow, who knows what I may be doing :-)
I am all about building services that derive more value than the net sum of the parts they encompass. To this end, I am very interested in projects leveraging data to build a better world. My track record in fields such as social media analytics and IoT should highlight this, with cutting-edge solutions aimed at creating new possibilities.
I employ whatever technology and methodologies are fit for a project, on a project-by-project basis, and keep my full range of skills up to date at all times. If there is no requirement, however, I tend to default javascript or rust, one for its reach, the other for its performance, and TDD to provide meaningful, reliable, spec-compliant solutions.
