About

I’m a geek, very passionate about technologies and software engineering in general, and I’m never satisfied, that is why I spend part of my free time reading and hacking around, technologies that I want to learn about, or about the ones that I already know, to gain a deeper insight, setting a continuous improvement process for my skills, and in my journey:

  • Discovered technologies, tools, patterns, principles, and more, and I hope to continue doing so for a very long time.
  • Decided to became a craftsman, because I fell in love with this discipline, and I consider myself lucky to be working on something that I really enjoy.
  • Learnt to value quality over quantity, because at the end, you end up delivering more.
  • Parked my ego and I don't even remember where :D and found out that cooperation and team work beats being a lonely rockstar any day!
  • Found joy sharing my knowledge with others, and also enjoyed learning from them, leveling up together!
  • Been taught to focus when delivering value to the users, and not build Swiss army knifes that do plenty of stuff that is not really needed
  • Loved making sense out of the agile manifesto ideas and practices, because life always eats plans for breakfast every day!
  • Found out that Continuous Delivery is THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT important, minimizing time to market can really make the difference.
  • And to be continued, because I hope to keep growing up this list!

My main goal as a professional is to acquire as much knowledge and experience as I possibly can, to be able to deal with the ever changing today's challenges and be ready for the future ones.

But real life is not forgotten either, I like to socialize with my team mates, to have some beers after work from time to time, to do some gaming, to watch TV shows, and to listen to rock and metal music. Disconnecting from work and regain mental health is important!
