In June 2018 Neil Murphy decided to reboot his career to become a Python Software Developer in Finance and Investments. He brings extensive investment and financial planning experience, is a Canadian Investment Manager and CFA level 1, has worked as a sole-proprietor and a senior manager, and has a global perspective having worked in USA, UK, Belgium and the Nederlands in addition to his native Canada.

After intensive self-training Neil now has experience with Python3.*, Pandas, Backtrader, Linux/Ubuntu 18.04, Jupyter Notebook/Lab, Pycharm, Plot.ly, Dash, quandl, MySQL, Numpy, Xarray, APIs, Interactive Brokers’ TWS workstation, yfinance, Quantstats, hdf5, argparse, Google Compute Engine, Apache, Flask, GitHub.
