A programmer at heart that is happiest when my hands are muddy with code!

I've been programming since the day I first unboxed my first computer - an Atari 130XE. I loved nothing more at the age of 8 than writing a computer program that would draw blocky coloured shapes on the screen that vaguely represented real objects and making them move around the screen - i.e. A rocket launching and flying off the screen.

I'm pleased to say my programming skill advanced greatly from here and led me down a path that I knew I wanted to take...

... my journey culminated with me gaining employment with a software house in 1998 where I have worked to date specialising in Payroll and HR application development, and currently hold a Senior Consultancy role with responsibilty for the complete development lifecycle from customer liaison and pre-sales/requirements right through to Development, QA, Versioning, Delivery and Consultancy.
