I've been doing web development professionally since 2003. Over the years I've enjoyed finding great new tools that let me focus on delivering value to customers. First it was Rails and I spent a few years working for Rails Machine, then I enjoyed using Meteor as a quick way to get applications online. Most recently it's all Javascript: Node, Express, React, Babel, Flow and everything else that goes with that.

As these tools have freed me from configuration and boilerplate, I've spent time learning how to design and build good user experiences.

I'm very detail oriented, but not detail-obsessed. I write code that is easy to follow, and I like to keep it clean so that I don't confuse my future self who might revisit the code. I build attractive but simple interfaces.
