Hello, my name is Robert Del Valle although I go by Rob. I am currently learning Objective-C with the goal of becoming an App developer, after that I do wish to extend my knowledge over toward a web based application language. I am proficient in HTML, CSS, Flash, Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere with some experience in Java.

As you can probably tell from that list, i have some background in video editing. I worked with a production company as an Editor for 3 years and before that I went to school for it. Although I have since left that part of me behind in pursuit of something I feel far more passionate about, programming. When I was younger I was actually very scared of programming no matter how interesting I found it. I really wish I knew then what I know now, which is that there was nothing to fear and that it is really fun and rewarding.

I have always been a problem solver, no matter what job I worked I would find things that need fixing and then proceed to come up with solutions. That also applies to life in general for me, if something isn't working you can bet I am spending a lot of time trying to figure out how to fix it. I am a true advocate of that nothing is impossible, and living proof that you can truly learn and do anything when you set your mind to it. (thank you Google)

I live in Southern California and I am a family man, another reason why I was done with the LA entertainment industry. My son is almost 2 years old now and I have a beautiful Fiance I hope to marry very soon. They are my "why" in everything that I do.
