Recently been working at a fintech startup www.huskyfinance.com co-architecture and developing a scalable .NET based microservices architecture for SMEs to setup and manage their workplace pensions online. I've been coding C# .NET for over 10 years and worked in development and team lead positions in companies like Misys, Simcorp and UBS. I usually work on back end services and APIs but I'm not at all bad at a bit of Angular 2 or MVC.

Behind the scenes I've aspired to some entrepreneurial dreams. I first wrote BiteFinder (basically just-eat) back in 2005 back failed to take it further. More recently I started a company in New Zealand writing an FX and precious metals brokerage system letting traders and their clients make orders online - that is still coasting but in operation.

Outside of all this I enjoy photography, wine snobbery, squash, hiking and other bits and pieces. I went to university once and studied Computer Science. I got a first and some faculty prizes which made me a bit proud.

I work hard and I like work to be fun. I love working with talented people, especially if I can learn something from them and share something with them too.
