These days I'm primarily a python programmer spending most of my days staring at vim and trying to solve interesting prediction problems.

My main interest lies in Machine learning and probabilistic problems. In particular I find classification and recommender problems extremely interesting and rewarding to solve.

Academically I completed a bachelor's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from that National University of Ireland Galway. After that I attained a Masters in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh with a focus on Machine Learning and Intelligent Robotics. Currently I am pursuing a PhD from the University of California Berkeley

I'm looking to build on my current knowledge base and contribute something back to this fun and insightful community.
