Lover of software automation magic and developer productivity. Deep experience in Unix, Java, Spring, and relational databases, and some experience with NoSQL databases. I've dabbled in Scala and am currently dabbling in Go. Further back in my career there's embedded programming, Unix C, C++, and some GUI work. I've developed data services and scalable web applications. I've worked with highly-concurrent, high-traffic e-commerce sites and small desktop applications. I believe in automating the mundane so the developers can work on the awesome. I've been a lead and a manager as required, and I'm developing an interest in product management.
