I've spent most of my career in investment banking (derivatives risk and profit and loss) technology. In that time, I've helped build big risk systems in Smalltalk, Java, C++, a little bit of Python (my new go to language for crazed hacking) and most recently experimenting with user interfaces in React / Redux. I'm guess I'm a bit of a generalist - there are definitely better hardcore coders than me, but there's a lot more to making effective systems and getting them used than just building them right. If you want to turn your old system off as well as switch your new system on, I might be able to help.
