I’m passionate about software development and I’m always looking for better ways to do things.

I finished my B.SC degree in Computer Science in 2002 and started working for MIS Consulting supporting and developing the Coretalk application. Over the years, distribution of our application grew steadily and we now have distribution in more than a dozen countries.

I have been the lead developer and project manager (amongst others) for Coretalk for the previous 8 years which has grown to be a very feature rich bidirectional communication and management tool. With that growth comes some headaches – Some of the code has been around for 10 years and was written by a bunch of different developers (some of whom have since left the company).

My role is essentially that of miracle worker – I need to know where all the source code is, what parts are mission critical and what kind of effect changes to existing code might cause. If anything goes wrong (We all know that never happens in IT right), I get to fix it or find the right person to fix it.
