Born and bred in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I started out as a Physical Chemistry major in the mid-80’s, where I became interested in the art of Molecular Dynamics. I did research on the behaviour of fluids with simulations on supercomputers. To the end of my study I started working in a little IT company. I did design, programming and project management of PBX software for companies like AT&T, Ericsson and Philips.
I am an Engineering manager, nowadays. But I am still a geek in nature and love technical stuff and areas like performance testing. But also the psychology of man and the influence that has on the craft of software development & testing has my interest.
I am a (lead) instructor for the different BBST courses in my spare time.
