I'm a fundamentals-focused advisor that uses Python to automate tasks that a computer does better than a human, like portfolio construction and trading instructions writing. Price discovery however still needs to be done by a human. Computers are not even close to being able to read and interpret, in an exhaustive and complete manner, the information of 10Ks/10Qs, investor presentations, and management call transcripts (with a lot of qualitative cues) and transform all this information in useful forecasts. A human + machine approach is key to the investing universe.
