I am conducting statistical research with a former NASA engineer, now vice president of a major insurance company. The project is to conduct Design of Experiments to estimate the inverse regression variance of 0.0005 points to the 3rd or 4rth dimensional derivative of multiple featured roots. The application of this project is to facilitate the Mars rover heat shield calibration upon atmospheric penetration.
I also worked in Taiwan Tech Arena for a sports video analytics startup that uses cutting edge computer vision techniques and optimizations to provide real time sports features automated analysis. I was 1 of 3 highly demanded engineers in the company where in I had to manage all the Cloud compute, video Data pipeline automations, Nvdia jetson tegra edge device configurations and many miscellaneous computer vision based analysis extractions from videos. The main challenge to resolve in this position was the real time video panorama generations of two 3840 x 2160 pixels, fish-eyed cameras stitching optimizations and camera callibrations.
On the side, I would work with engineering students or professionals of different backgrounds to exchange my Computer Science concepts and Data analysis experiences with them to learn about their expertise from their domains.
