As Android Developer Advocate at Google my work is to enable partners to build the best applications for the Android platform embracing the latest technologies.

My areas of expertise are:

• background processing
• connectivity (5G and Bluetooth)
• telephony

Previously I spent 7 years in Motorola/Zebra Technologies helping the AutoID market in EMEA to transition from Windows CE to Enterprise Android, presenting at conferences, doing workshop and helping customers to bring existing solutions on the new platform and helping growing Zebra's leadership position.

Prior to joining Motorola I spent a huge amount of time building apps on every kind of computing device, from 8bit micro to multicore servers, having a lot of fun building sync engine for mobile platforms like PalmOS and Windows Mobile.

I'm interested in programming languages, mobile devices and embedded systems.
