High interest in open source technologies, especially Apache Cassandra for which I wrote a new compaction strategy (not yet in-tree), as the topic for my MSc thesis.

I'm currently working at Pythian as a Cassandra Consultant and DBA, where I provide daily support to mission-critical environments to multiple clients.

I also have more than six years of experience as a developer, building applications in Java, and C#.
