Hi! My name is Paweł, self-taught developer and entrepreneur, who has built an entire career and business through Open Source technology. I have learned a lot in the process and I believe there is not enough knowledge-sharing in that space. By blogging and speaking at conferences, I want to help other young entrepreneurs and companies who may want to follow a similar path.

I am 24 and I was born in Łódź, a great city located in the exact centre of Poland. While still in high school, I have worked for my first commercial clients and created initial bits of code, which ultimately became an Open Source project. A few years into the future, Sylius is the first eCommerce framework for PHP, with over 350 code contributors and used by developers worldwide.

These days I am busy leading the project towards its stable release and managing a commercial company that emerged in 2014, from Sylius’ popularity. Our team is a group of young and passionate people, building next-generation eCommerce products. We also consult and train other development agencies, who use Sylius for their customers.

I had the great opportunity to speak and share my knowledge at over 30 events, including international technology conferences all across Europe. I am also involved with my local community, as a co-organizer of PHPers meetups in my hometown.
