Originally Pascal & 68xx/Z80 assembler programmer developing software/firmware/drivers for OEM devices used in medical & food industries & teletext adapters. Then spent 20+ years in the automation industry working in C++ & PLC ladder logic & then Java for a while, using db3, FoxPro & SqlServer databases - automating a whisky blending, bottling & warehouse plant for most of the time, also making biscuits (in Batley) & lawn mowers (in Poland). Now have moved back to software/firmware/drivers for technical instruments using C# & MySQL.

For fun, I have volunteered for over 15years at a birds of prey rescue charity & have written & had published a book on birds of prey.
