I'm a telecommunications professional specializing in networking, telephony and convergence.

I've been programming for most of my life, about 30 years, but at this point I'm mostly a hobby programmer. I've worked in several programming languages and programming environments including Basic, Visual Basic, C++, C# and have some experience with relational databases. I've even programmed in Cobol and a few other archaic languages.

I've done firmware hacking at the assembler level even wrote a disassembler at one point. I have recently worked in RobotC and with the Arduino platform, most notably helping my son integrate an Arduino processor into his R/C rock crawler.
