Now proudly accepting downvotes for refusing to over-engineer 32 step, round-about, complicated and convoluted solutions to simple problems or simply because "You don't do it that way" or "It violates some obscure design standard". Readability and maintainability are key components in my solutions, the easier it is to read the easier it is to maintain.

We had a saying in the Army: "If its stupid and it works, Guess what, it ain't stupid!" (That's right, I said 'ain't'.)

If my solution doesn't work, I will fix it when I find a better one. If my solution works I will stand by it.
