I have been a hobby programmer since 1985 (originally Atari XL, then Atari ST, Commodore 16 and 64) with a few breaks in between. In 1994 I started with web site development (HTML) at my university, in 2002 with small games in Javascript. In 2005 I finally started with C# (mostly for user interface design, but then later also for real code behind stuff), but was also continuing Javascript and started PHP. All the while I was a software translator, tester, and tech pub author - sometimes simultaneously :-) In 2011, I started a full-time employment as software engineer at a small company in the Netherlands and have been with them since. I started Delphi in 2011, but am thinking of letting it rest for a while. Meanwhile I am catching up with JQuery, PHP and SQL again.
