I work as a Software Engineer for Local Theory in Bentonville, AR. Local Theory is a part of Store Nº8, Walmart's internal startup incubator for future retail technology innovation.

I've done a lot of different things. I did a whole lot of web development, all across the stack. I've also worked in industrial automation and robotics. My bread and butter right now is IoT tech. I do best at either end of big data pipelines, either gathering data for the system or making real things happen based on decisions made from data.

I've worked with a wide variety of technologies over my career, from the standard to the obscure. My favorite languages are JavaScript, C#, Ruby, and Python.

Working offline I've had experience with hobbyist platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, and professionally I've worked with PLC and microcontroller applications for factory production control and automation, namely with Opto 22 devices.
