Been around for some time now but I still really like to code, lists of skills, techniques and tools seems superfluous. More importantly, if put on routine work (legacy code, big organisations with their desperate strategies, failing project models, politics, etc, etc), on top of being compensated for my top-notch work, I need to be economically compensated for mundanity. If put on something that requires actual skill, knowledge and creativity, the former might not be on the table.
