Novjean Kannathara has a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology from M.G. University, India and has graduated with his Masters in Computer & Information Technology from Purdue University. His research concentration is on big data analytics and cloud computing and is actively pursuing a full-time position starting August 2016.

At Purdue, Novjean has been teaching C and C# programming in Purdue since 2014 under the guidance of Prof. Guity Ravai at the department of Computer and Information Technology. Novjean has been interested in problem solving using programming languages ever since he first learned C programming language in high school. Throughout Novjean’s undergraduate studies, his research curiosity was in self-learning technologies which inspired him to make an automated response chat system using Java. He also worked for a brief time as a freelance web developer after his BS degree, creating numerous websites using Joomla, PHP and HTML along with good memories.
