Introductions are weird. I’m a learner, then a builder. I’m a finance graduate whose only significant post university experience has led him down the rabbit hole of writing software for fun, for money, and for the sheer torture being frustrated by edge cases that seem designed to punish him.
Put simply, I’m a software developer with nearly four years’ production experience building products that scale (and some that do not). My entire software experience have been in start-ups – where I have both been de-facto lead developer by virtue of being the sole developer working on the products and in charge of the entire development cycle, and a member of a small team.
My experience so far has led to me working in (and sometimes forgetting) the following tech stack: Javascript (React.js, Backbone.js, Next.js Native DOM, React Native, Node.js, Feathers.js,), Python, TypeScript, C, Objective-c, Bash, AWS, and Docker.
I have a lot of experience with being a self-starter and working without supervision, even though I prefer having at least a loose set of directions and benchmarks. I like to work with very motivated team members and experienced team leads.
I’m looking forward to the opportunity of a new adventure and not to sound corny, but I’m hoping it’s with you.
