I am a software engineer with 8+ years of experience in developing java web applications. I founded Aranin Software Private Limited in Feb 2008. Since then I have been working as tech lead (contract) for Scripps Networks. I have been an integral part of developing the community platform for Scripps, which powers most of its site like hgtv.com, foodnetwork.com, food.com, diynetwork.com etc. I was also part of core team that created a award winning community web site pickle.com in 2006.

I also head the design and development of a open source project called JaiomServer (Java All in One Mediaprocessing Server). The project is still in alpha stage and its first release with video processing functions was released in May-2011.
