I have been studying electrotechnics and electronics for 5 years in a technical institute, where I particularly loved a class which included both computer science and robotics. There I built and programmed my first robot using Lego Mindstorm for the italian competition “RoboCUP JR", which is probably the main reason that led me to apply to the Computer Science bachelor’s in Trento.
Here I studied a wide range of topics including basis of imperative, object oriented and functional programming, databases, algorithms, compilers and grammars, computer networks management and operating systems, as well as grounded fundamentals of arithmetics, algebra, geometry, physics, probability, statistics and logics.
My thesis has been strongly related to my internship: “Cross-platform programming techniques". In fact I have been working for about three months for Lika electronic, developing an application meant for encoders parametrization which had to work in both MS Windows and Android.
I finally graduated with a mark of 100 out of 110, an excellent result within my department. I decided to continue studying in order to master at least some of the topics I studied. I’d really like to work in non-boring and dynamic field and I have finally chosen Games Technology at the IT University of Copenhagen.
These studies will allow me to master, alongside games development, a range of areas I like, such as mobile, web and general programs development thanks to the advanced C++ and Artificial Intelligence I will learn.
