I have been a computer enthusiast since I was a little child. My first computer was a Commodore 16. I won it in a contest, and got caught to the joy of computing since then. Then I got a Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2A, the computer with I learned more at the time.
I'm an assistant professor and researcher at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. My research is focused on middleware systems, and I'm currently lecturing about programming, operating systems, and distributed systems.
Beyond the academic world, my experience also includes volunteering as a EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) in Madrid for 15 years, as well as working as an instructor for network security, and writting for some specialized journals.
