My name is Austin Nelson and I’m a 2nd year at Michigan Technological University. I am a Computer Science/Computer Engineer double major with a focus on mobile development. In high school I taught myself Java and had so much fun with it that I went to school for programming. Now, years later, I’ve grown in my programming skills and have expanded my knowledge in the field of Computer Science.
I am an active member on the Mobile Development Club and am involved in many projects, including planning the 2012 MTU Developers Conference. I am also involved in IEEE on campus and am competing in one of their competitions (see my project here). I love working with the Arduino microcontroller and have used it to make many projects, most of which are in this blog.
Mobile Development is my passion. I love working with new ideas and pushing myself to new limits.
