Mubeen has been engaged with the Information Technology sector for the past several years. He launched his career with noticeable companies including, Clear Cube, Austin TX and Huawei, China. Simultaneously, Mubeen has worked on QEMU/KVM (Linux Kernel Virtual Machine to virtualize the macOS operating system on Linux) with Gabriel L. Somlo who is a professor at Carnegie Mellon University and works closely with Linus Torvalds (the creator of Linux).
Mubeen’s skills include driving products as product owner, people and project management, project management process models, product design and market analysis. His technical expertise include high level programming languages, assembly languages, web programming technologies, relational and noSQL databases, programming frameworks, game engines, mobile and desktop application development technologies, server development technologies, game design and development, and software version control.
Moreover, Mubeen has a keen interest in the fields of algorithms, artificial intelligence specifically entailing, computer vision, machine learning and robotics, computer graphics, high performance computing (HPC), massively parallel computation, software optimization, process automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and 3D modelling.
He has been awarded with several prestigious awards including the Magna Cum Laude Honors degree and the Swami Ram Teerath Gold Medal for securing the highest CGPA amongst the bachelor’s degree class in the Faculty of Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics in Forman Christian College, Lahore.
His academic work in computer vision includes research and implementation on solving the rigid structure from motion problem. His hobby work encompasses research and implementation in HPC (High Performance Computing) using OpenCL (Open Computing Language) since the birth of OpenCL and reviewing and editing some of the earliest available books and tutorial materials on OpenCL. Arch Linux is one of his tech toys being the Linux enthusiast he is.
