Someone who wanted to program stuff since age 13, starting with Assembler because I had no Internet and only this one compiler and documentation. Broke the compiler after I started to make some progress. Later made little drawing programs in BASIC, with an own text-based graphics format, and a chess game (no AI) based on the drawings from it.

At age 15 I did my first little scripts in php and started to work with mysql. Later making an (mostly textbased) online game called oceanfighter with some friends from school. About 250 $ adsense revenue, wooha.

After leaving school in 2007 we founded a business and tried to make some profit from a platform we called afterskool, kind of a facebook for school. That did not work. After that we tried other stuff like a city trip planning and booking plattform, and a football manager for facebook. But most of the work went into projects we did for customers.

In 2012 we founded another finally successful own platform called hotelkitm, together with a hotelier from Salzburg. Our backend runs mostly on php and mariadb. But my focus shifted to the frontend where I work with angularjs and also build our app, using phonegap.
