When I was a kid I wrote DOS games in Turbo Pascal. Now I'm an adult who writes desktop apps in C++ and Python.
In a previous life I worked on BitTorrent Inc.'s uTorrent client. Before that I helped create the Geary email client and worked on the Shotwell photo manager for Linux, both written in Vala. Prior to that, I wrote and maintained a Java-based frontend for security compliance software, as well as a Win32 sandboxing app in C++.
