Engineer, philosopher, athlete, artist.
I'm a strong proponent of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing with the aim of achieving stable and high performance teams. I strive for clean code and the incorporation of best practices and principles to achieve more business value and less technical debt while providing software that is evolutive and maintainable in time.
Philosophy, sociology, metaphysics and psychology interest me on a regular basis.
I love sports, I play football (soccer) regularly - it is something I cannot get enough of.
Music is my hobby, I improvise and write lyrics, recording when I can in my home studio. It was a big part of my life before I started my professional career as a software engineer.
I enjoy programming outside work, almost all of my projects are open source and made available via my GitHub account. I love meddling with various things from web design to machine learning.
I believe that continuous learning is one's duty; I enjoy enrolling in online open course-ware and applying the material. I attend conferences regularly, watch talks online, read books and online articles. I like to give back what I learn through blog posts or talks combining and adapting material with my own perspective with the hopes of inspiring others.
