About

Having fun in code is important. Growing the skills of your team to be world class is worth doing. Communications and team work is super important. Knowledge is power, use it to save time by helping people to solve problems.

Functional programming is great, there is a learning curve, but once you get it, so many things become simpler, and it's easier to write robust code.

I like Agile ways of working, Trello boards, test driven development, continuous integration, prefer smaller, productive teams, happy in a startup space.

I have lots of experience in architecting and building solutions from the ground up.

Offshoring appears attractive at first because of the cost savings. I haven't seen a case yet where it is better than a local team. Whiteboard sessions and design meetings don't translate very well over Zoom. In order to make it work, you have to spend time preparing specifications and communicating the details to the devs.
