Started programming early 80's using an Atari 800XL (6502 instruction set).
Moved on to the 1040ST (68000 instruction set, bought my first bible, ST essentials).
Then came the PC, after trying Borland C++ I decided I was more suited to Visual Basic and Java for web applications, learning flash and actionscript for my early web projects.
VB.NET is my preferred language, using it for desktop, web, mobile, and micro projects, although I do use 'PureBasic' for faster, native programming, including assembly projects.
